It worth being visited with the whole family: Sardinia is an ideal destination for a holiday with the kids. Land of sun and sea. And below you can find some of the best beaches for kids on the island.
Chia and Sa Colonia – In southern Sardinia. The town of Chia offers four kilometres of coastline where there are seven beaches. Among these, the most suitable for children is the beach of Sa Colonia: it provides a long seaside, shallow and crystal water, plus many facilities, including a large car park nearby. There are also many accommodations.
Poetto – The beach of Cagliari, and certainly the most beloved by it habitants. Seven kilometres of sandy coastline and shallow water. It is easily accessible from the centre of Cagliari, both by car and by public transport. There are several beach resorts with all the facilities you may need. Also, it is equipped for water sports suitable for the whole family.
Villasimius – Always in South Sardinia. Villasimius is a tourist destination renowned for its beautiful beaches such as Simius beach, near the village, has a sandy shore, ideal for long walks and is equipped with all the amenities.
Costa Rei – Not far from Villasimius. Also in this area there are many stretches of sandy coast where children can play safely. And, being a famous tourist destination, is equipped with all the facilities you may need.
Golfo di Orosei – A heavenly inlet there are several beaches. The most suitable beaches for children are those located in the nothern part, easly reachable by car. As Cala Ginepro, characterised by white sand beach, shallow water, and a pine forest where to find refreshment during the hottest hours of the day.
Il Cardellino – On the island of La Maddalena, towards north, reachable from Golfo Aranci and Olbia. This is also a small white sand beach, with shallow water.
La Pelosa – This beach for kids in Sardinia is located in Stintino, in the north of the island. La Pelosa offers soft white sand and a turquoise sea obviously with shallow water. The city centre is not far so that you can have access to all the services you may need.
