The reasons to enjoy a trip to Sardinia in October are so many. And if this vacation will be with the whole family, we have a little tip that will let you spend a few days immersed in the magic of words: it is the 2016 edition of Tuttestorie festival of children’s literature, which will be held in Cagliari from October 13 to 20 in 2016.
The theme of this year of Tuttestorie, one of the most important national festival dedicated to children’s literature, will be the courage, the true engine that drives any narrative. During the event, San Personaggio Patrono del Coraggio (Patron of Courage) will be built, then taken in procession at the end of the festival.
The real essence of the festival will be the so many workshops: dance, drawing, cartoon, stop motion, body percussion, cooking, music, illustration, creativity, writing, poetry. We must add to all this the great exhibition dedicated to Roald Dahl, the famous author of several children’s books, including the Chocolate Factory and The BFG (the film The Big Friendly Giant by Spielberg was based on The BFG).
Tuttestorie festival lasts seven days. And the main tourist itineraries to discover the city of Cagliari are also seven: you could benefit from the event to discover one of the most beautiful and ancient cities of the Mediterranean, visiting places like quartiere Castello, Poetto, Saint Remy bastion, the Elephant tower, San Pancrazio tower, the Royal Palace.
