Nordic walking Sardinia: the best places where to go

Are you lovers of Nordic walking but do you prefer the town and not hills and mountains? The towns in Sardinia are perfect to involve Nordic walking. Cagliari is one of the favorite destination during all the year. Also Olbia is ideal but it’s better during the summer. And then, there are Sassari, Alghero and Oristano.

Go slow

If you prefer paths less demanding but very pleasant, the route that starts from Seui and arrive to Gairo is for you: you can walk among rivers, nuraghe, mines, deers and mouflons. This path is similar to Green Train of Arbatax.

Beach

Some places really beautiful in Sardinia are the beaches. And in fact, this island is a favorite destination for beach Nordic walking (to involve above all during summer). The beaches advised for Nordic walking are Chia (close to Cagliari), Lido di Orrì (near Arbatax) and Marina di Sorso ( close to Porto Torres).

Challenge

Finally, for all experts of Nordic walking, there are two routes really demanding and at same time unforgettable: Montarbu, with its forest, that extends in the area of Seui (reached from Arbatax); Monte Arcosu, not far from Cagliari, with its forest famous for the presence of mouflons.
