Holyday in Stintino: sun and relax on La Pelosa beach

If you are on vacation near Stintino, this is one of the places you must see. Because, bluntly, you’ll find yourself admiring one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, along the north coast of the island. This is La Pelosa beach.

The beach

White sand and crystal clear water are the characteristics that made famous La Pelosa beach. Before the island extends Asinara, which could be the destination for a boat trip. The stretch of sea between the beach and the island, whose colors vary from blue to turquoise, is ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts.

Near the beach there are two ancient towers, the tower of La Pelosa and the Saracen tower called del Falcone: both are great excuses for many pleasant walks.

The utilities

La Pelosa beach is located near the town of Stintino, and several services are available, such as parking, bar, restaurant. Furthermore it is one of the best beaches for children in Sardinia, ideal for a holiday with the whole family.

Getting there

To get to La Pelosa beach, from Porto Torres take the road that leads up to Stintino. Shortly before Torre Spagnola, on the left there is the beginning of a small dirt road. If you do not want to board a private vehicle on the ferry, La Pelosa beach is well connected by shuttle bus departing from Stintino.
