It is among the most beautiful beaches of Caprera island, and maybe of Sardinia. You’ll find out the reason when you will reach it (you can rest assured that you will not regret the trip). The fact is that you have heard about this island and now you want to see it. But you don’t know how to get to cala Coticcio.
The beach – Do you need some good reasons to visit this beach? Here you have: fine and white sand, the color of the sea changes from blue to turquoise (and the water is very clear, of course), the beach is surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation. It is not a coincidence if cala Coticcio is also known with the nickname of Tahiti.
How to get there – This small nature’s jewel, always very crowded during the summer, is located on the east coast of Caprera island. It can be reached via a path with the guides of Arcipelago di La Maddalena National Park (for more information, visit Lamaddalenapark.it). To get to Caprera, just cross Passo della Moneta, the road that connects Caprera to La Maddalena.
And since you are there – Have you seen how to get to cala Coticcio? Since you are in this (beautiful) part of Sardinia, it’s recommended to visit la Maddalena archipelago: to get there, you can take one of the ferry from Palau (near Olbia and Golfo Aranci) to la Maddalena.
