How to get to Corsica from Sardinia by ferry

You have the luck to live in a splendid land like Sardinia or you are spending your holidays on the Northern coast of this Island. Beyond Bocche di Bonifacio (Straits of Bonifacio) there is another beautiful island to discover, but how to get to Corsica from Sardinia?

 

Santa Teresa di Gallura

The first stop of the trip from Sardinia to Corsica is Santa Teresa di Gallura, located in front of the Strait of Bonifacio. To get to Santa Teresa di Gallura you have two ways:

  • By airplaine. The nearest airport is Olbia. There, you can rent a car or take a bus from Olbia to Santa Teresa di Gallura (for more information visit the website Comune.olbia.ss.it).
  • By car. The best starting point is Olbia: take the Main Road No 125 and then the Main Road No 133. If you come from Porto Torres, you can get to Santa Teresa di Gallura through the Main Road No 131 and then the Provincial Road No 90.

 

Ferryboat

From Santa Teresa di Gallura, on the Northern coast of Sardinia, to get to Corsica you have to take a ferry towards Bonifacio. If you travel by motorcycle or by car, you can take both on board.
