European jazz expo 2016 in Cagliari: three of the best jazz musicians

In Summer, Sardinia is the island of jazz. From the north coast to the south coast, the most awaited appointments are five and, maybe, you’re planning a vacation to see them all. Well, there’s another event that you really shouldn’t miss: it is European Jazz Expo 2016 in Cagliari, on July 13th.
Their names are John Scofield (guitar and bass guitar), Brad Mehldau (piano, Rhodes, synth) and Mark Guiliana (drums). And, playing their instruments, they are considered among the best in the world. On May 31th, their tour will begin at the Blue note in New York.
After years of collaborations, this trio, on the occasion of European expo jazz in Cagliari, will offer new songs and great musical improvisation.
A city to discover
If jazz music is your real passion, this concert for you is an unmissable event. An event that could become a wonderful idea to spend a couple of days in Cagliari:
- Discovering some of its most important monuments: bastione di Saint Remy, torre dell’Elefante, Ghetto degli Ebrei, Cittadella dei musei, torre di San Pancrazio, quartiere Castello.
- Lying on its most beautiful beaches, such as Quartu Sant’Elena.
The concert will be held in the auditorium of the conservatorio (conservatory) Pierluigi da Palestrina. It is located in Piazza Ennio Porrino, near the famous Poetto beach, the port of Cagliari and the the Molentargius – Saline Regional Park.
