Holidays in Sardinia: how to get to Capriccioli beach

The beach

It’s a vey small and cosy beach. The colour of the sand is bright with grey shades. The sea is blue and crystal clear. Capriccioli beach (“Capriccioli” means little goat in Sardinian language) is surrounded by Mediterranean scrub: mastic trees, rockroses, olive trees and pines. The beach is divided into two parts by large granite boulders.

It’s the beach to spend a day dedicated solely to relaxation near a dreamy sea. Capriccioli is accessible for persons with disability and has a large car park and various services. The waters is shallow for several meters: for this reason, this beach is a good idea during a holiday with family. From Capriccioli, it’s possible to reach the pristine Mortorio Island.

How to get there

Olbia is the most important tourist port near Capriccioli beach:

• Take the state highway 125 towards Palau;
• After seven kilometers, take county road 73 and follow the road signs to Costa Smeralda;
• At San Pantaleo crossroad, take county road 94;
• Follow the road signs to cala di Volpe and Capriccioli.

The journey by car takes about thirty minutes.
