It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Caprera. And this is the reason for which a lot of people visit it every year. You are one of these, and you’d like to enjoy the sun and the sea of this fabulous place. Now you want to know how to get to cala Andreani.
Cala Andreani is a large white sand beach. The sea is trasparent. Smoot rocks rise from the water. This beach has only one flaw: it’s always very crowded during summer.
Golfo Aranci and Olbia, on Sardinia north coast, are the main towns near Caprera Island. In both cases, you have to take the state highway 125 towards Palau. This is where ferries to La Maddalena depart: there are several departures every day, particularly during summer.
Once arrived in La Maddalena, in order to reach Caprera you have to travel the so-called Passo della Moneta: it is a road-bridge that connects the two islands.
One you are on Caprera, in order to get to cala Andreani, you pass Istmo dei Due Mari (literally “Isthmus of the two seas”) and arrive in an open area: here there is the path to the beach.
