The port of Toulon is the second French port from which ferries to Sardinia leave. It is located just outside of town and you can reach it by car, by train and by bus. From the port of Toulon ferries to Sardinia leave for Porto Torres, located on the Western coast of the Italian island.
The only one company which serves the route Toulon – Porto Torres is Corsica Sardinia Ferries. It takes from 7 up to 8 hours to reach Sardinia from Toulon and so ferries sail by night. The frequency of routes depends on seasonality and during the high season there are at least three routes a week. Embark or disembark cars and passengers at the port of Toulon
You must arrive at the seaport at the time indicated on your ticket not to loose the right to board. If you have the need to embark your vehicle you’re recommended to arrive at the seaport at least two hours before the departure scheduled time.
To embark and disembark the vehicles you must follow the Company’s staff indications. Only the driver can access to the ferry’s garage: all the other passengers can board by the side entrance. During the sailing it’s forbidden to access to the ferry’s garage.
You can take with you just one hand bag. Animals are allowed to board if they have their own boarding pass and a valid vaccination document (if required).
During the sail, it’s important to always have the boarding pass and the personal ID document because the Company staff can ask to control them in every moment.
When arrived at the destination port, if the disembark of the vehicles would not be possible because of bad weather conditions or because of other reasons not depending on the Company staff, the procedure will be delayed. Passengers can not ask for compensation.

How to reach the port of Toulon
The port of Toulon can be reached by car, by train and by plane.
You can reach Toulon by car by following one of these routes:
If you come from the East, you must follow the A57 and take the 1b exit;
If you come from the West, you must follow the A50 and the indication to Toulon exit.
If you arrive at Toulon by train, you have to know that the train station is located 2km from the seaport. So, from here, you can reach the seaport by bus or taxi.
From the airport of Toulon/Hyeres it is possible to reach the seaport by bus, lines 63 and 7801. The 63 bus line allows you to reach the seaport in 19 minutes, while by taking the 7801 bus line you can arrive there in 30 minutes.

Q-Park Place d’Armes: open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is located very close to the seaport. It is possible to book your parking lot by paying 7,86 € per day.
Q-Park Lafayette: open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you want to book your parking lot you must pay 8,57 € per day.
