Embark or disembark cars and passengers at the port of Barcelona
Passengers must arrive at the seaport at least two hours before the departure time not to loose the right to board. If you have the need to embark your vehicle you’re recommended to arrive at the seaport at least two hours before the departure scheduled time.
If you need to embark and disembark a vehicle, you must follow the Company’s staff indications. Only the driver can access to the ferry’s garage: all the other passengers can board by the side entrance, with the boarding pass and a valid ID document. During the sailing it’s forbidden to access to the ferry’s garage.
You can take with you just one hand bag. Animals are allowed to board if they have their own boarding pass and a valid vaccination document (if required).
During the sail, it’s important to always have the boarding pass and the personal ID document because the Company staff can ask to control them in every moment.
When arrived at the destination port, if the disembark of the vehicles would not be possible because of bad weather conditions or because of other reasons not depending on the Company staff, the procedure will be delayed. Passengers can not ask for compensation.

How to reach the port of Barcelona
You can reach the port of Barcelona on foot, by subway from the city center. Otherwise you can reach it by car, by bus, by train or by plane.
From the city center, you can reach the seaport walking through The Rambla, to the monument commemorating Christopher Columbus. You can also take the subway reach the port: the line is the green L3 and the station is Drassanes.
There are many city buses that you can take to reach the port. The useful lines are: 14, 20, 59, 64, 120, D20 and H16. Every day a shuttle service is also available from Portal de la Pau to the Grimaldi Lines Terminal at the following timetables:
On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.;
On Wensday, from 6.30 p.m. to 12.00 a.m.;
On Sunday, from 08.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and from 6.30 p.m. to 12.00 a.m.
During holidays the shuttle service timetables change due to the arrival time of the ferries.
If you come from the Ronda Litoral, you have to take the exit 21 Ciutat Vella and arrive to Plaza de la Carbonera. Here, you must keep driving to Muelle de Costa, towards Montjuïc.
The El Prat airport is located 14 Km from the Barcelona city center. From the airport you can:
take the bus and arrive to Barcelona in just 35 minutes. You will arrive near the underground station “Cataluña”. From here, you can take the subway to reach the seaport.
take the suburban train: the R2 railway line arrive at the airport terminal T2. By train you arrive at the station “Paseo de Gracia”, which is located close to “Plaza Cataluña”. The journey takes 30 minutes. From here, you can reach the port by subway.
